MIRA5 is a hobby grade desktop laser engraving machine. The working area is 500*300mm, with water cooler, exhaust fan and air pump built inside of the machine which is very compact,clean and modern. To be an hobby grade model, the water cooler may not be very effective, as it is not compressor type. You can not run it continuously over 4 hours, or the water temperature will be too high.
It is designed more focused on engraving than cutting, therefore, there is no blade cutting table for this model.But that does not mean you could not cut at all. You could cut plywood, MDF, leather, paper with this machine very well. Only that when cuts the acrylic or other plastic materials, better to put some solid flat objects underneath to make the acrylic not contact with the honeycomb table, so that it won’t burn the bottom of the acrylic.
The MIRA5 might be the most powerful hobby machine you could find on the market. The engraving speed is very fast, up to 1200mm/sec. The acceleration speed is 5G. Also, the dust proof guide rail ensure the engraving outcome is perfect. The red beam is the combiner type, which is same with the laser path. Further, you could choose autofocus and WIFI to get easier operation experience.
